I've been using this filter for about 4 years now. From my research it's the leading one of its kind for the cantonments I'm concerned about in Chicago like Lead and Chloride. My water tastes so much better and I have no plan on stopping my aquagear subscription anytime soon. My only complaint is that the plastic pitcher looks cheep, doesn't age very well. It would be cool if they released more then one container option or had at least another color option because the off white-ish yellow isn't cute. But clean and healthy water is more important than looks so I would never switch to another brand because of that. I'm glad they have statistics available and take their filtration levels seriously.

I first bought the Aquagear pitcher while living in Chicago. I had an infant and was worried about what could be in the water. Aquagear was a recommended brand for removing all of the top contaminants so we tried it out. We could tell right away from the taste that the filter was working. Best of all, I didn't have to worry about what was in our drinking water anymore. Several years later and we are still using the Aquagear pitcher. Definitely recommend!
